Earrings

Leah has been talking a lot about earrings lately... while eating dinner the other day Leah and I had the following conversation...

Leah: "Mom, can boys have earrings?"
Suzie: "Yes, some boys and some girls have earrings."

A few minutes later (and after a teenage boy walked by).

Leah: "Mom, look... he's got cheerio earrings... I WANT CHEERIO EARRINGS. Can I have cheerio earrings?"
Suzie: "Maybe when you're older." (Leah doesn't have her ears pierced yet)
For those of you who haven't seen "Cheerio" earrings yet... this is an extreme example of what Leah saw... the one we saw really was the size of a cheerio.
